Jim 'n Nick's Bar-B-Q

Jim 'n Nick's blends traditional barbeque with more upscale menu items and may be the perfect choice for those not quite ready for the concrete floors and plywood tables found in the truly hard core barbeque shacks. Jim 'n Nick's features hickory-smoked barbeque pork, chicken, beef brisket, sausage, and turkey breast. The quality has improved significantly since they began offering pulled pork (pulled meat is leaner than chopped or sliced meat). They also cater to the poor, misguided souls who do not enjoy barbeque by including fried and grilled chicken, grilled rainbow trout, catfish, and pork chops on the menu. Jim 'n Nick's operates six restaurants in Birmingham as well as restaurants in Destin, FL and Nashville, TN. The Riverchase location is just 0.2 miles South of the LOG29 hotel. The Trussville location is 7.8 miles from the Barber Motorsport Park.

Directions: From the Riverchase Galleria, exit the mall on the East side, turn right onto US-31, and go 0.2 miles South. From the Barber Motorsport Park, turn left onto Rex Lake Road and go East about 0.5 miles. Turn left on Parkway Drive (US-78) and go North about 0.3 miles to I-20. Take I-20 West 3 miles to I-459. Take I-459 North 3.3 miles to exit #32 (US-11). Bear right towards US-11 North and go 0.1 miles. Bear right again onto US-11 and go North 0.7 miles. The restaurant will be on the left in the Home Depot shopping center.
