Hot and Hot Fish Club

As the name implies, the Hot and Hot Fish Club prominently features fish and seafood; however, this is not cajun cuisine as many might expect. The name Hot and Hot refers to the heritage of Chef Chris Hastings whose great-great-grandfather founded a South Carolina epicurean club by that name. Hastings honed his craft at the Ritz Carlton Buckhead in Atlanta, the Lark Creek Inn in San Francisco, and as executive chef at the Bottega restaurant in Birmingham. In addition to seafood dishes such as Shrimp Risotto, the menu also includes a variety of meat, game, and fowl such as grilled duck breast and braised rabbit. The Food Network has featured his Hot and Hot Pork & Beans and an upcoming episode of the network's "Top Five" show will feature Hot and Hot Donuts. A small bar serves specialties such as a Hot and Hot martini, made with pepper-infused Stoly vodka, and a watermelon margarita. The extensive wine list features over 80 wines by the bottle ranging in price from $25 to $250.
